Louisiana’s new AI division to spearhead state strategy, support business innovation

Louisiana’s economic development agency has created a new division called Louisiana Innovation (LA.IO) to spearhead the state’s artificial intelligence strategy and support business innovation.

• LA.IO will develop the Louisiana Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a nonprofit organization that will serve as the state’s primary AI strategy coordinator

• LED currently participates in seven seed capital funds throughout the state
