Director of Business Development Role

In this role you’ll be responsible for forming early business and strategic partnerships, driving sales and helping to shape the overall business model and strategy of the company. Key responsibilities

  • Help spearhead the company’s efforts to form strategic and business relationships
  • Lead the company’s sales outreach, including ad sales, paid placements and consulting services
  • Analyze industry data to become an expert on the AI landscape and report key findings and recommendations to company leadership
  • Create and execute innovative campaigns, demos, and events to showcase our AI platform
  • Identify untapped growth opportunities and new AI monetization streams
  • Report on team goals, forecasts, metrics, and AI sales performance
  • Be part of building a sales team from the ground up

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in sales or business development, with 2+ years managing a team
  • Consistent record of exceeding sales quotas and growth targets
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with preference for MBA
  • General understanding of the AI landscape and how to use AI tools to automate your work
  • Preferred experience in management consulting, investment banking or high growth sales team
